History

1994

Founding of KRUG & PARTNER GmbH. The focus of the team of 3 is the conception and realisation of a Trademark information system (DB2, MV).

1995

We successfully develop a system for dynamic document generation.

It revolutionised the documentation process for the patenting department of a world wide chemical company (ORACLE, AIX,QUICKSILVER(INTERLEAFE)).

1996

In the mean time 4 colleagues have joined us and ensure that our project-base expands. We contribute to the development of a logistics system for an Airline company.

1997

Further projects for managing trade protection rights. Costing, Contracting and Document management.
Our technical know-how in the field of Oracle is becoming more and more valued.

1998

With our determining influence an Energy Management System was created for a large Energy supplier. It offers the possibility to monitor consumption of an unlimited variety of energy types and to manage the billing of businesses and cost centres (Oracle, Windows NT).

1999

With over 10 colleagues we have achieved the strength to move from being a ‘IT-Service Company’ to a becoming a ‘IT-Product Company’. We start with the development of PATVIN, a system for professional management of patents.

2000

Again our technological expertise in Oracle brings advantages for both our customers and for us. The transition of the Oracle environment into the Internet age works seamlessly:
Also the first version of PATVIN is equipped with optional Web ability.

2001

Foundation of KRUG & PARTNER Vertriebs GmbH to sector the Product business. Already during the foundation year a leading Chemical Company implemented an enterprise wide license for PATVIN. KRUG & PARTNER GmbH becomes an ORACLE-PARTNER.

2002

During this year we will have more than 15 team members. In addition to several additional components for PATVIN we will, during this year, present a system for professional management of Trademarks.

2003

PATVIN was extended with a powerful module servicing 'Inventor remuneration'. At the same time we launched MARVIN; a professional Trademark management system. The product PatAgent - a system for monitoring foreign patents - will also soon be available

2004

Krug & Partner plc is 10 years old this year. Despite the unfavourable economic environment over the last two years our growth and product development were not affected. With pleasure and optimism we move on to the tasks before us.

2005

This year, we have, with PATFOLIO, created a unique instrument for evaluation and strategic planning in the intellectual property sector. This flexible portfolio management system with its clearly structured graphics provides quick and reliable information on the quality of your patent rights.
